2015 Update

Wyndham Shearwater continues to be the Wyndham Shearwater - Homeowner Updateshighest rated property in Hawaii, but the best never rest. The first quarter of 2015 has been a period of small but steady improvements to the property. During this quarter, renovation upgrades have continued with excellent results. Tile, grout, and seal work has been completed in January of 2015, granite repair, bathroom faucet replacement, and the installation of new shaker style cabinet doors and drawer faces will be complete before the end of April 2015. The new and repaired features will create an even greater sense of upscale living, luxury, and sophistication.

A new WIFI system has been installed in February, giving the property greater upload and download speeds, a property wide coverage, and a very stable and strong signal. We have placed collateral in all rooms for the operation of the new system, providing clear instructions on logging in, and any support that may be needed in regards to the WIFI system.

A fence has been installed to reduce the ability of neighboring properties and their residents to utilize and access the Wyndham Shearwater property. This can never fully be achieved, but we hope this will discourage outside, unauthorized guests from "joining" us at the pool and grills.

Final dates for construction of the BBQ grill roof and seating have been set, as well as dates to repair the wood deterioration on beams in buildings one and two. 2011 Update

During the past year, we have focused on both Wyndham Shearwater - Homeowner Updatesthe interior and exterior of our resort. While details were being finalized for interior refurbishments earlier in the year, the exterior of all of our buildings including the clubhouse were painted. New lanai furniture has been put on all of our lanais and roof repairs have been completed. Additional lighting has been added to our stairways and several landscaping upgrades were added.

The furniture in our clubhouse was refinished this fall. New electronics packages including LCD TVS , Bluray players (also play your favorite DVDs) and an iPod compatible stereo in our living rooms and LCD TVs in our bedrooms have been installed. Phase 1 of refurbishments was the installation of new living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture, and new carpet and wood-laminate flooring. In progress are new drapes, blinds, lamps, artwork and bedding.

Buildings 1 and 2 are upgrading to the new key card system which will require new entry doors and this will complete the entire resort with electronic key cards.

Upcoming Projects: Your board of directors met in October to determine the Phase 2 project, which will be the renovations to the entire kitchen and bathrooms, including new granite counter tops and new cabinets. This will be scheduled in 2014 due to the need for blocking out reservations at least 17 months prior to renovations. We will start with building 2; however scheduling is yet to be determined. For the exterior projects, we are looking at constructing a barbecue area, and building a roof replacement and repairs.

Highlights: Your resort became a Non-Smoking resort this year and your board and Extra Holidays continue to work on additional Green Initiatives for Wyndham Shearwater and our environment.
